Daniel Self
Lead Pastor
Daniel Self was born and raised in the Roaring Fork Valley before spending 20 years pastoring in Texas and Georgia (Go Dawgs). He returned to the mountains with a vision to build a church rooted in biblical truth, driven by authentic relationships, and passionate about reaching the mountain region with the hope of Jesus. Daniel and his wife, Amy, have two kids, Elijah and Selah, and enjoy the active outdoors of the Valley.
He has a deep love for God’s Word and a passion to see lives transformed. Daniel leads with the conviction that when someone truly encounters Jesus, everything changes. His heart is to help people grow in faith, walk in their God-given purpose, and live fully alive in Christ. If you’re looking for a church where you can grow in God’s Word, experience powerful worship, build meaningful friendships, and live on mission—Daniel and the team at The Orchard would love to meet you.

Dan Bosko
Executive Pastor
Dan was born and raised in upstate New York. After college he moved to Richmond, VA where he experienced God personally for the first time and life was never the same. After a few more years in the business world while volunteering as a Young Life leader, he did his first mission trip which led him on staff with Athletes In Action. A few years after that he started working on his ThM at Dallas Seminary from which he graduated in 1999. Dan spent the next 5 years in Vail working as a part-time pastor, part-time ski instructor. He then moved to Aspen to take a full-time position with Crossroads Church as their Community Pastor. In 2018 he stepped back from full-time ministry for a personal reset and is incredibly excited to be back at it full-time with the Orchard Church. Dan loves to hike, golf, bike and ski and is still a gym rat as well.

Mandi Read
Children's Pastor
Mandi and her family have called the Roaring Fork Valley home since 2012. Prior to moving to Colorado they lived in Texas and Alaska. The Reads have been part of the Orchard since 2012. Her husband, Mark, can be found many Sundays playing acoustic with the worship band. Their teenagers, Jacey and Donny, keep them busy attending many sporting events and spending time together in the mountains. In her spare time, she enjoys being outside trail running, hiking, camping, paddle boarding, and rafting.
Mandi devotes her life to children and has been a teacher for over twenty years. As a passionate educator, she works with kids from preschool through high school in a variety of settings. Most recently she taught at Cornerstone Christian School, which is where she learned how amazing it is to have the opportunity to pray with and disciple children. Not only does she love working with kids, she also has a heart to bring parents together to raise Christian leaders, and to serve families in our community.

Jake Heuer
Community Pastor
Jake Heuer grew up in the heart of our local community, surrounded and shaped by many of same familiar faces and places that are still here today. For years Jake searched for his true passion, exploring various interests and hobbies, but it wasn’t until recently that he discovered what truly ignites his spirit. Now fully immersed as the Community Pastor, he finds immense joy and fulfillment in contributing to the community that has always been his home. Jake's favorite things are his wife Brady, their two daughters Maggie and Sydney, and the amazing adventures they share together. He also treasures the sense of belonging and the connections he has built with the incredible people and friends around him. This journey has taught Jake that sometimes the most meaningful pursuits are right where you started.

Not only does he enjoy preaching and teaching, but he likes taking guys camping, building relationships and helping men build a solid and authentic faith in Jesus. Annie Stephens
Executive Assistant
Annie was born in Colwyn Bay, North Wales, but spent most of her early adult years in London, England, with a one-year work assignment in Belgium.
She first heard the Gospel message when she was 26 and gave her life to Jesus shortly afterwards. In those early years as a Christian, God planted a seed in her heart to work with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF). Four years later, after applying to work with British MAF, she was introduced to Randy Stephens who was on his way to Africa for his first assignment as a pilot/mechanic with MAF. It was love at first sight … and the rest is history. Annie and her husband served with MAF for 16 years in Lesotho, where their two boys were born, and later Kenya, with some years in between fundraising and visiting supporters. The Church at Carbondale and The Church at Redstone were a significant part of their support. Just before they left Kenya, their eldest son, Michael, died from malaria. Throughout her journey of grief, Annie has held on to her deep faith in Jesus and God has given her a supernatural joy despite the tragic loss of her son.
In 2000, Annie, her husband, and their son David, moved back to the Roaring Fork Valley where Randy grew up. Annie began working as Executive Assistant to one of the Campus Vice-Presidents at Colorado Mountain College until she retired in 2017. Annie is passionate about sharing the love and joy God has given her in good times and bad, and to inspire and encourage others. She loves to use her organizational skills to help others be the best that they can be. Oh, and she loves to laugh - in an English accent of course!

Micah Conklin
Worship Leader
Micah was born and bred in Southern Louisiana. After soaking in the beauty of the Valley, she and her husband Eric decided to relocate in 2013 to pursue a job in the cardiac cath lab in Glenwood Springs. Micah has played with several worship bands over the last few years but truly feels at home leading worship here at The Orchard. Micah’s heart is to see God’s people be free to worship authentically and honestly. When Micah is not leading worship, she loves spending time with her husband and son Asher camping, rafting, hiking and skiing.

Henry Hill
Production Director
Henry is a long time native of the Roaring Fork Valley, and grew up going to The Orchard Church. While attending Carroll College and obtaining a Business Degree, Henry discovered a true love for music and production. Before working at The Orchard, he produced two personal albums that reflect his life and his relationship with Jesus. As a result, pastor Daniel gave Henry the opportunity to bring his talents and passions to The Orchard. He plays the acoustic and electric guitar every Sunday to help lead The Orchard body in worship. Although his production experience started with music and sound production, he has learned and developed professional level skills in video and broadcasting. Henry helps spread The Orchard’s message of “Love God and Love people” across the globe by creating and leading an amazing broadcasting and production team.
